Welcome! How did you learn about our group?

I studied photography in college and appreciate well composed photo or video. Two friends are models and one an actress so I love looking at their photos. I'm interested in taking photos of people and converting the photos to a CAD file so a 3D printer can make statuetts, busts, heads in scale or full size. The same process will be used to make replica static and flying full scale airplanes. I'm looking for a person to organize guest speakers in schools to talk about using math in careers. Thousands of jobs in America are not filled because no person inspired kids to seek careers using math including science, engineering, technology, physics, software math, chemistry and also nursing. Guest speakers will talk about careers. And airplanes in museums with cockpits kids can sit in will inspire some kids to want to make or invent things. Kids in high school building cars inspire some to keep attending classes and not drop out. If you have questions about taking better photos ask me.

Please post a profile picture of yourself.

I never think to take photos of myself without someone else in the photo. I'm downloading a photo of myself talking with a man returning home after an 8 month circumnavigation of the world. (Sorry forgot his name.) The sun was shining on something in front of my face so its not perfect but its the best photo of myself I have. I've refused to use the 3.0 and 4.5 versions of Photoshop I have so far because many people take a class to learn to use it. But how complicated can it be to crop photos? I am interested in using Photoshop to take two exposures from same angle so shadows have more detail when the darks are merged into one image. At a Bel Air Camera trade show not long ago I saw a camera that has a setting to take two photos bracketing exposure that also blends them together to make an incredible photo. This may work to take great photos in low light of people or eliminate overexposed flash washing out a face. I recommend Canon G series pocket cameras for beach or photos in snow.

Hello, I love art, photography, drawing, architecture and design. Sometimes I see some art I think will be neat to replicate for home or office. I'm putting together a team to build replica aircraft for museums for static display & that fly.
