What we're about
Upcoming events (2)
Please join us for our first Advisory Council meeting of the year. I will have light refreshments available, so please RSVP as soon as possible. Feel free to share this with any co-workers or friends you know who would be interested in helping us grow CS & IT in Alpine District & Utah. RSVPs will close on Friday, October 18 at 5 p.m. We will have most of the CS & IT teachers in attendance, so if you have been itching to talk to a teacher, or get involved in a classroom, this is a great time to do so! We've had some great partnerships this year already with some of you and would love to see that continue to grow! We will be discussing the vision & goals for Alpine CS & IT for this year. We will have you done in plenty of time to attend Monday night's festivities if you are planning on attending CS for All. We are also going to ask for your input on an organization we are supporting this year, ITeam. As we support ITeam and try to help grow the events and opportunities available to students, your input is very valuable to us. Senator Thatcher and Bob Sorenson, from ITeam, will be in attendance to share the vision of this organization, answer questions, and get input for our big spring event. You can see some photos and read about the first-ever ITeam Leadership Summit that we attended in September here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/utah-cs-students-gather-first-ever-iteam-usa-fall-leadership-yocom/ Please let us know if there is anything specific you want to discuss at the meeting on the RSVP.
