RESCHEDULED: Easy Peasy MST, pt. 2

Several weeks ago we did MST from Fresh Market to Dingle Creek, west bound. This time it will be French Broad Overlook to Dingle Creek, east bound. We'll cross the French Broad River and hike up to the new bridge that crosses I-26. The trail provides a safe crossing. Then it's to Dingle Creek, where we'll take a spur trail to the Dingle Creek parking lot. It's a sweet trail not known to everyone, and it offers yet another access to the area.

After our break at Dingle Creek, it's back to the French Broad Overlook.

This is not a difficult hike, and we'll hike at a slow pace, between 2.0 and 2.5 mph. Out and back is about 6.5 miles. Expect to spend 3.0 hours on the trail.
