PADDLE FRENCH BROAD/DEL RIO SECTION, CLASS I-II

We will do 7.5 miles of Class I-II water on the French Broad to 25/70. This includes the exciting section with DEL RIO. There are many islands to adventure around, lively significant wave trains, ledges and much bird life as it all flows throughout quiet rural countryside. Also rock bluffs are interspersed.
There is one class III at THE FALLS, but I can guide you around it instead. This section has been a long time favorite of many paddlers mainly because of the WAVE TRAINS.
Must be experienced in class I-II, have PFD, whistle, 7' line on bow for man- over- boards, lunch and all your own whitewater gear for the entire day.
NO INFLATABLES or SUPs PLEASE. MUST have skirt w/sit-in and flotation with all, if you don't have a sit-on-top. Please have everything D-clipped (water bottles, etc) to your kayak.
We will meet at Sams Club Asheville and carpool to Del Rio.
