Have you found yourself drawn to Asheville Raven & Crone without quite knowing why? Exploring your spirituality as a lone practitioner, wondering where your path will lead you? Would you like to meet others who are on their own path, or on one similar to yours? Do you have questions but not quite sure where to find the answers? Join David and Tree as we explore different pathways and journeys, practices and faiths, rituals and celebrations. The Welcoming Circle is open to all faiths, genders, and beliefs. We ask that you join the circle with an open heart and mind, as we discuss and explore our eclectic paths. For further information, contact David Taliesin at www.facebook.com/davidtaliesin. The Welcoming Circle meets the 2nd Sunday of each month. *Asheville Raven & Crone is always accepting donations of women's feminine care products for Asheville Period Project, non-perishable food items for Mother Grove, and donations for Lovey's Leukemia Fund!
A monthly forum/discussion group called "Circle Round" to provide a place for Pagans to meet and learn more about a variety of subjects. It will meet at the Raven and Crone every third Thursday of the month, from 6-8 pm. This month's event will be a DRUM FACILITATION AND CHANT WORKSHOP, focusing on rhythms and techniques to make you an integral part of any drum circle, as well as chants to get the magick flowing! Children who wish to learn drumming are welcome, and we'll have new ideas for experienced drummers too! Bring drums/rhythm instruments if you have them, and enthusiasm. We will have some extra rhythm instruments available for use. Love donations for use of space and/or contributions of canned goods for the foodbank are welcome. Presented by Meade, co-founder of Tuatha Dea Celtic Tribal Drum Family, and Rhiannon of SerpentStone on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 6-8 pm at the Asheville Raven and Crone. Circle Round is a monthly forum which meets on the third Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm at the Asheville Raven and Crone, 555 Merrimon Ave., Asheville, NC.
