RASC Vancouver Monthly Meeting - Show and Telescope


Speakers: Council and members (see below for details)

Location: Trottier Studio for Innovative Science Education at SFU Burnaby Campus, in the Chemistry Department, Room C9501.

RASC council and members will present on various types of observing equipment. Any members who wish to present are asked to contact Suzanna at [masked] so we can schedule the presenters.

Equipment being shown will include:

- Binoculars

- Telescopes: reflectors, refractors, SCTs, and solar.

- Eyepieces

- Mounts: equatorial, alt-azimuth, and go-to.

- Astrophotography.

In addition, we will host a telescope workshop this evening so if anyone has any questions or issues with their telescope, eye pieces, filters, etc., please bring them to the meeting and members of the RASC will be happy to address your concerns and answers your questions.
