  • Atheist Seminary - first meeting ever

    Happily Ever After

One thing that makes it so hard for many people to let go of religion, as well as which sometimes makes life difficult for those who have done so, is that in ages past, many people have used religion to address certain human needs such as * Coping with the loss of a loved one * Coping with their own mortality * Feeling a sense of purpose in the world * Feeling that "second wind" wen life just has you down for the count And many more things. However, drawing from the vast wealth of philosophy and other resources, we can find ways to address these human needs without needing to resort to supernatural fantasies to do so. The Atheist Seminary is for those who have a desire to help others do exactly that.
