75 Bennett St, Suite N-2, Atlanta, GA
Please note, there will be an additional $40 supply fee paid at the beginning of the class. Lunch is free and will be included.
This workshop is an introduction to the wet plate collodion process. It is also known as tintype and is an historical process first used in the 1850s. The workshop will introduce students to the process with a demonstration and then each participant will have the opportunity to make wet plate images to take home with them.
What to bring:
Optional, but if you have a Holga plastic camera, please bring it and get the adapter for a cable release. It costs about $10. If you have your own camera, you will have more opportunity to shoot. We will have 3 others that will be shared during the class.
Also optional, if you have a tripod, please bring it. The exposure times are slow.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained. Black is good since the silver turns black so you won’t see it!
If you have any questions about the class, feel free to contact Mary Anne at [masked] or at[masked]
Refunds offered if:
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
