Why did you decide to join this group?

Because I am a kayaker who loves to paddle

What would you say your experience level is?(we like all levels, but it may help us target events)

Certified River Kayak Instructor. Certified in Wilderness First Aid, General First Aid and CPR. Very good with many thousand miles of river experience. I promote day, weekend, multi-day and extended self-sufficient kayak trips.

What type of paddling do you typically do?(flatwater, whitewater, sea)

I paddle flat water, whitewater and open water in a 12' recreational kayak. Now using a Necky Looksha IV for ocean kayaking.

How often do you typically paddle?(once a month, once a week, etc)

I paddle quite frequently from Jan 1 until Dec 31 and sometimes too much. Neither rain, hail, snow nor sleet stops me from paddling.

Would you participate in social events with this group, even if paddling wasn't involved?

Probably not, I joined the group to help and meet paddlers.

River Kayaking Instructor, trip planner, organizer & guide. Paddle long and short distances. Longest trip 851 miles 49 days, Longest trip in 24 hour period 92.5 miles. It you are going paddling and need help, advice or a paddling partner, contact me.
