Abstract: Maximize your opportunity to be hired as a programmer
How do you maximize your opportunity to be hired as a programmer? The easy answer is to have the right training and experience for a particular job. But what if you're new to the field, with little or no experience? What if you've been at the same company doing the same technology for a long time? What other traits, besides technical acumen, are critical to success, and how do you cultivate them? Steve's talk will address these questions, based on his experience working and hiring in the Atlanta software development market.
