What we’re about

Attagirl! We are a diverse group of women, coming together in community, getting active in the outdoors together, discovering nourishment with each other and the outdoors, empowering each other to live a life we love, and embracing what makes us each unique as women. We're here to give each other an encouraging 'Attagirl!' as we explore Idaho and try new things. "Attagirl Adventures" - it's playful, positive and full of encouragement pate on the back that we give each other when conquering new active endeavors!

If you are also looking to find your tribe, know that you are not alone! If you are a female and you are interested in:

• getting active in the outdoors through hiking, biking, paddling and more!
• discovering your own relationship with the outdoors
• finding your tribe of likeminded active women
• Beginners, experts, locals, and new transplants are all welcome

This is the group for you! We will host various different outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, biking along the greenbelt, paddle boarding, skiing, snow shoeing, backpacking, running, etc. Anything that gets us outside and/or active and allows for us to connect and build community with one another.

ATTAGIRL ADVENTURES MEMBERSHIP RULES:
Members must post their real name and photo on their profile that shows their full face (no sunglasses) - Not a flower, mountain or animated character (last name not required). It is important that our group leaders can identify you by your profile picture for your safety and safety of the group.

RSVP policy: If you sign up for any event, then decide you will not be going, you must update your RSVP to "Not Going" a minimum 24 hours before the event to allow others the time to join in your place. If you are a No-Show for an event, event leaders may remove you from their activities for up to 6 months.

Liability: Attagirl Adventures and its leaders assume no liability for accidents or other mishaps that happens to a member during an event or the ride to or from the event - leaders are volunteers. Each member needs to participate within his/her comfort level and take responsibility for his/her own safety, first by not signing up for events outside the member's comfort level and second by not following directions or taking advice that might put them in danger. Event attendance may require a signed liability waiver to participate.

Preparedness: Each member needs to come prepared for the activity he/she signs up for - start by reading the event description all the way through. It also includes being in physical shape for the event as described by the difficulty level - not sure what level you are? Maybe start a notch below - if that goes well, then try a more difficult level next time (for example - attend a beginner hike first and if you feel that it was easy, breezy - then try an intermediate rated next). Bring the proper equipment such as the ten essentials, non-cotton clothing, appropriate footwear (bike, board, etc) and enough food and water. Not sure what you need after reading the details of your event? Reach out to the event leader and ask - we're happy to help with suggestions and recommendations.

* A hike leader can chose to remove anyone from his hike for any number of reason: not meeting fitness requirement, incomplete profile, history of showing inconsideration by signing up and cancelling frequently, showing negative attitude on a previous event, no-shows or leaving disrespectful comments.

Thank you for honoring yourself and others by following these guidelines. We hope to meet you out there and share the joy and nourishment of stepping out and exploring. Sending you all the love and good vibes from the girls! See you on our next ladies adventure!
