Double Feature - American Werewolf in London & The Thing

Event Cinema on Queen St is showing an awesome classic horror double bill of American Werewolf in London and the original version of The Thing. Tickets are $17.

The first film starts at 7.30pm so I recommend folks meet in the ticket hall at 7pm and then buy tickets, unless there is enough interest to warrant pre-booking.

This event will need a host...any takers?

An American Werewolf in London

Two American tourists in Britain are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists. Rated R16 - contains violence & sex scenes - with a runtime of 98 minutes.

Followed by a 10 minute intermission!

The Thing

Scientists in the Antarctic are confronted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of the people that it kills. Rated R16 with a runtime of 109 minutes.

I'm really interested, but I need to come back to you on that one. If I close at work, it'll be quite short timing for me...
