If you’d like to meet and socialize with fellow LGBTQIA+ Austinites who enjoy trying out new restaurants around the city, let’s meet up! One of our favorite things is to enjoy good food with good company. We believe this is an ideal way to make new friends and cultivate those friendships through fun and meaningful social interactions. Plus, yummy food!
First and foremost, this group is a safe and open space for our Austin queer community. We’re a little bit of an older crowd with most of us being between 30-50 yrs old, but we won’t turn anyone away based on age. You are also very welcome if you’re an ally. If you bring respect, kindness, safety, and friendship to the queer community, you are welcome.
Our main activities include Happy Hours, dinners, brunches, and anything else we can come up with to enjoy each other’s company with food and drink. We’ll also be exploring ways to support the queer community through events like attending local art and music shows by queer artists, supporting locally queer-owned bars and restaurants, and volunteering.
