Lino Graglia on Executive Orders & Racial Preferences

Are you concerned about presidential executive orders, racial preferences and extraconstitutional actions taken by our federal government and courts? Then you must come to hear renowned conservative UT Law Professor, Lino Graglia.

Lino GragliaProfessor Graglia has written widely in constitutional law--especially on judicial review, constitutional interpretation, race discrimination, and affirmative action--and also teaches and writes in the area of antitrust. He is the author of Disaster by Decree: The Supreme Court Decisions on Race and the Schools (Cornell, 1976) and many articles, including recently "Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye: Of Animal Sacrifice and Religious Persecution" (Georgetown Law Journal, 1996).
Graglia is "one of the most conservative legal academics in the United States." He is a well known critic of affirmative action and racial quotas, and a critic of some aspects of judicial review, believing that the courts are an illegitimate avenue for securing social change. He accuses modern liberals of making an end-run around democracy by seeking political victories in front of judges instead of at the ballot box.
