Please explain what your hopes and expectations are in joining the Austin Celtic Meetup?

I expect Austin Celtic to be more than a 'Braveheart club'. Austin Celtic should be authentic. There should be room for people who just want to go to meetups for the craic (the fun), as well as those who to get to know their inner Celt better.

What particular facet of Celtic culture (Music, History, Language, Art, Storytelling etc) most interests you?

I think that brewing beer in a uniquely Celtic style ba hiontach (would be awesome). History and language are boring. But it's necessary to know, otherwise we're just a bunch of drunks.

I got involved in Gaelic games and language when I was drawn in by the music, the craic, and the desire to experience Celtic culture in a fun way. Organizing for Austin Celtic is so fun! I love you guys!

What Jerome is saying about this Meetup Group

Come for the craic (the fun) or just to get to know your inner Celt a bit better.
