The Winter Solstice - the shortest day of the year - is a time to mark the transition of the seasons, from Fall to Winter. We celebrate the movement toward the coming light and reflect on the darkness with ritual, reflection, and community fun.
This year, we are excited to collaborate with Mishawn Mielke of Embers & Shards to bring the powerful experience of witnessing or participating in a glass walk. Whether you walk or not, it serves to help shatter our beliefs about what is and isn't possible, and to get absolutely present.
For more information about glass walking, go to www.embersandshards.com
Here's the schedule:
6:30-7:00 Socializing and potluck
7:00-8:30 Winter Solstice Celebration ritual & Glass Walk
8:30-9 Socializing and more snacking, perhaps some music & dance too!
Please feel free to bring something for the pot luck if you would like, but it is not required. Dress to be comfortable inside and outside.
This event is family friendly and all are welcome. Both the ritual and glass walk are included for $15. Please RSVP here. You can pay at the door or via PayPal to [masked]
