Welcome to Our First Meeting!
We're so glad you're here. This first gathering is all about getting to know each other and building the foundation of our community.

What to Expect:
During this meeting, we'll take time to introduce ourselves and share our stories. You'll have the opportunity to talk about your diagnosis journey, the illness(es) you're living with, and what your day-to-day life looks like. We'll also discuss the biggest health-related struggle you're currently facing—whether that's physical symptoms, navigating the healthcare system, relationships, work, or anything else weighing on you right now.
Most importantly, we want to hear what you hope to gain from this group. Are you looking for understanding? Practical advice? Just a space where you don't have to explain yourself? Your hopes will help shape where we go from here.

What to Bring:
Please bring a notebook and pen to each meeting. We'll have a discussion prompt each time, and having space to jot down thoughts, resources, or reflections can be really valuable for your journey.

This is a judgment-free zone. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with, and everything shared in this space stays confidential. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been navigating chronic illness for years, you belong here. Also, snacks will be provided!
