Eastern Carribean Cruise

Before the holidays, it's time for relaxation and fun! Come sail with other boomers for seven nights on Holland America's Eurodam from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Turk, Turks and Caico Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and the private island Half Moon Cay and return to Ft. Lauderdale. Leave Denver on Friday, November 30th, spend the night in Ft. Lauderdale and board the ship on Saturday, December 1, returning to Ft. Lauderdale on December 8th.

The Eurodam - The Eurodam was dedicated in July, 2008 and carries just a little over 2,000 passengers. Your fellow passengers on Eurodam will vary, depending on the ship's itinerary. On a Caribbean cruise, you'll find more North Americans. In most cases, Eurodam cruisers are well-traveled and typically more mature -- in the 50-plus demographic.

Dress Code: On Holland America, formal nights are still considered to be quite formal. Occurring twice on a seven-night cruise (and more often on longer voyages), passengers really do dress to the nines; men wear tuxedos, and women wear long gowns or elegant pants ensembles. The rest of the time, the ambience is resort casual -- day and night. Very informal gear, such as jeans and shorts, is appropriate for outer decks but not so much for restaurants.

Holland America Gratuity: Holland America Line automatically adds $11.50 per person, per day, to onboard accounts; it is then shared among waiters, stewards and other service personnel. That amount can be adjusted in either direction by visiting the front desk. A 15 percent gratuity is tacked onto bar bills. Note that gratuities are not automatically included on bills for spa treatments.

Price starts at $599 per person for an inside cabin plus the tax of $109.05. Air not included in this price.

Deposit of $350 will hold your reservation with balance due September 2nd.

Cancellation Fees Waiver & Baggage Protection - Travel Guard is recommended. Insurance must be paid within 10 days of deposit.

An additional $9 per day may be reinstated for a fuel surcharge.

Contact Nancy Wee at[masked] for more information and to book the cruise.

There's still time to join this spectacular pre-holiday cruise to the Eastern Carribean! Never know, there might be someone looking for a roommate who wants to go too!
