What we’re about
Explore. Refine. Reclaim your creative process.
Bad Art Group is a global online community for adults who want to explore and refine their creative process through drawing-based activities.
We work under the Bad Art ethos — the belief that creative growth begins when we stop chasing “good art” and start creating freely, with room to make mistakes, take risks, and play.
Each session offers guided drawing prompts, reflective discussion, and shared insight into how we think, feel, and create. The focus isn’t on artistic outcomes — it’s on developing a relationship with your creativity that’s sustainable, self-directed, and supported by community.
You can expect:
🎨 Playful, process-focused drawing sessions for all skill levels
💬 Conversation that helps you understand your creative patterns
🌎 A safe, welcoming global community of like-minded creatives
🪞Guidance from Tash, creative coach and founder of Bad Art Group
Adults only — this is a space for deeper creative exploration and honest reflection, free from judgment and pressure.
Bring your favourite materials, an open mind, and permission to make bad art on purpose.

•OnlineBad Art Block - A Prompted Drawing Workshop
OnlineFeeling creatively stuck or caught in old habits? This playful online workshop helps you look your creative process in the face — gently, honestly, and with a sense of humour.
Using a set of innovative 'Bad Art Block' Creative Prompt Cards, we’ll explore how intentional drawing can reawaken curiosity, loosen perfectionism, and reconnect us to the joy of making. Each session includes fast-paced drawing prompts, reflective expansion rounds, and a group discussion to help us see that creative struggle is universal — and often the birthplace of new ideas.
You don’t need to “know how to draw” — this isn’t about making good art, it’s about getting to know yourself as a creator. The materials you use don’t matter much; what matters is showing up, experimenting, and learning to trust your process.
What to expect:
🎨 Guided prompt rounds to break through creative ruts
💬 Reflective discussion and community connection
🌀 A safe, supportive environment to take risks and play
✏️ Bring Your Own materials — use whatever you love (pencil, pen, paint, iPad, etc.) and something to draw on. Bare in mind, we will be doing a few drawings so have a few surfaces at the ready!Hosted by Tash Stokes, Artist and Creativity Coach, founder of Bad Art Group.
Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and let’s make some gloriously bad art together. Please note:
This is a community experience, please be prepared with a working camera and microphone so that we can all get to know you! I know it can be intimidating to share yourself online but please trust that this is a safe space to show up as you are, bad art, flaws and all.
