Learning to ride a bike can be tough.  Lots of scrapped knees and elbows.  Or does it?  If your child has ever experienced a balance bike (i.e. Strider Bikes), you know that learning can be so much gentler, kinder, and fun.  A balance bike is a bike without peddles.  Balance bikes come in all shapes and sizes and can be jury rigged by taking the peddles off a traditional bike.  Balance bikes help kids learn one skill (balance) at a time without having to learn a second skill (peddling).  This group is dedicated to those who have children who either own a balance bike or would like to explore balance bikes.  We'll have occasional get-togethers and who knows, maybe even a race or two.  If you'd like to learn more about balance bikes check out these links:
