April meetup for "Wicked"

Hello everyone. We'll be meeting this month for "Wicked" at the Gin Mill in Canton. Our May book is "Tropic of Cancer" by Henry Miller. Bring suggestions for June. And as always new members are always welcome, even if you didn't read the book. Just come and see what we're all about.

After all the interest "Wicked" generated at the last meeting I was surprised how much "buyer's remorse" people had after reading it. I can agree that while the language was beautiful and visual the story was very slow moving without any real build up. There was lots of engaging conversation on other topics and I'm excited for future books.

It would have been good to do some introductions. This was my first time attending and I sat next to 2 other newbies as well. I'm not looking for a formal group, but a meeting with a little more of a format was what I was expecting.

It was everything an introverted stranger could hope for: friendly people, good food, relaxed atmosphere. What a relief.
