Announcing a new Meetup for Baltimore PHP!

What: PHP Code Review moderated by Tim Crider

When: Wednesday, December 15,[masked]:30 PM

Where: OmniTI
7070 Samuel Morse Dr
Columbia, MD 21046
[masked]

You know your code works, but have you ever wondered if it would win a beauty contest, or could be improved at all? Well here is your chance to find out! On Wednesday, December 15 Baltimore PHP will host a code review. We will provide a few examples of both good and bad code, but anyone is welcome to bring some examples of their code to let the group evaluate. If you would like to remain anonymous, submit your code before the event to [address removed], and we will obfuscate your code and evaluate it. This month is our second code review, and the first in our new quarterly code reviews. Feel free to bring your code along also!

All levels of code will be accepted. Just starting out in PHP? This is your chance to get help and guidance from people that have made their careers in PHP. Do you write Enterprise level code and think it's second to none? Now is your chance to test your theory and share your skills with the group and pass on your knowledge.

The meeting starts at 6:30, and we'll get on the code review around 7:00. 6:30 - 7:00 is reserved for chit chat, socializing, and our usual pizza tasting :)

We are meeting in our normal location, at our normal time. Pizza and soda are provided by OmniTI (Thank you so very much!). Come hungry with your PHP hats on. Bring a friend that's interested in PHP or someone looking to refine their skills. The more the merrier.

As usual, we?ll continue our tradition and conversation at PubDog in Columbia for a few drinks afterwards.
