New Slow Jam leadership

From: Sue B.
Sent on: Thursday, October 20, 2011 7:47 AM

Dear all,

The esteemed Dave Commins and Don Friedman sadly had to relinquish their roles as Jam leaders due to changes in their schedules. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that they have both been great for the group. Each of them has contributed something unique and has helped participants move forward as musicians. Thank you to Dave and Don for helping to make this group successful and for being so supportive of newer players.

Happily, we are not short of great leadership. Kimball Mandrake is stepping up to the plate and will become a new Slow Jam leader. His profile is not yet up on the site, but it will be soon. He has many years of experience as a musician and he's extremely excited to take on this role. His first jam will be Monday, October 24th, 2011. And as usual, Phyllis Elkin, Bill Giles and AJ Bender will continue in their role as leaders.
