Re: [electronicmusic-152] Looking for studio learning partner(s)

hey everyone, my name's Gabe and I currently go to school at Ex'pression College in Emeryville. I've been trying to write some trance/electronic songs on my own, but I would like some outside collaboration. I live in Berkeley so somebody close by would be optimal. my influences are more mainstream trance artists/DJ's (i.e. Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, BT, ATB, Gabriel & Dresden, etc).

Currently, I use Logic Pro 8 and Reason 4.

if anyone's interested, let me know.

My setup has Cubase, Stylus, etc. running on a MacBook Pro, Saffire with 8 channels out, Kyma/Capybara (just beginning to learn it).  My great love, though, is singing.  Trained 40 years ago in Grotowski and elementary Noh drama vocal production, as well as conventional Christian church organ and choral singing.  Lots of experimental theater.

Enjoy improvising vocal melodies over techno, trance...

Open to jamming.  Have a Yamaha P250 keyboard.

The last half dozen posts have been exciting! has a bunch of mp3s, but most of them are pretty old.  I'll put some fresh tracks up soon.
