Music Video Race in San Francisco this May

Hi Folks!
I'm putting together an all new music and film event in San Francisco this May, and we're on the lookout for some more musicians and filmmakers to get involved. Info below. YTOu can contact me at this address or through the website if you are so inclined.

Music Video Race is an all-new music and film festival in San Francisco this May.

On May 18-20, we're teaming up 20 musical acts with 20 teams of filmmakers to make 20 music videos. On the following Sunday, the 27th, we'll show all 20 videos at the Rickshaw Stop where we'll also have live bands and prizes for the folks who made the best videos. We're still confirming some of the prizes, but a few that that we've locked down already are a multi-day recording session at Studio SQ in San Francisco for musicians. For filmmakers, DTC Grip and Electric has offered an amazing free gear rental package. Both of these prizes offer contestants a chance to get some professional help completing their own projects.

We'll match up the filmmakers and musicians at a launch event on Friday May 18th, and they'll have the weekend to collaborate on an amazing new video, dropping it off at the San Francisco drop-off location (TBA) that Sunday night, just 48 hours later.

The screening is going to be a great time, with industry judges from the music and video worlds. One judge we can announce right now is Jacob Krupnick, director of Girl Walk // All Day,  a feature-length dance music video set to Girl Talk's "All Day" record.

We're still looking for a few more bands and filmmakers for the event. Interested parties can go to and click on "musicians" or "filmmakers" to reach us.

I've attached our promo postcard for some visual reference, thanks for reading
