Subject: New Orleans 48 Hour Film Project -- Registration is now open! (July 26th-28th)

Hello Filmmakers!
Summer is here, and it's time to start thinking about the 48 Hour Film Project, now in it's seventh year in New Orleans! Registration for the 48 Hour Film Project is now open! This year's dates for the competition are July 26th-28th.
Early Bird Registration goes on until July 1st. Teams can sign up by going to our website:
We will have our first networking mixer on Thursday, June 20th at Indulge Island Grill (845 Carondelet Street). Starting at 7pm, we'll have drink specials available while you meet up with your fellow filmmakers poolside. Grab your swim gear and come on! This event is in conjunction with NOVAC's Third Thursdays. For more info, check out:
We have many exciting announcements for you in the coming weeks, including screening info, auditions, and more networking opportunities. Stay on the lookout for e-mails and check out our Facebook page and Web site for more info.
Finally, I'd like to officially welcome Bill Rainey as this year's New Orleans co-producer! As administrator for The Holding Tent, Bill has shown tireless dedication to making the Louisiana Film community even stronger, and brings that dedication to the 48 year in and year out. You can catch Bill talking about the 48 Hour Film Project and the Holding Tent tomorrow at 7am on Cox 4 as part of Across Louisiana
Get ready for an exciting summer with the 48!
