What are your favorite Bay Area milongas?

I've never been to one before. Besides one lesson that I've had, I'm a complete beginner.

How long have you been dancing?

I've played soccer since I was a kid and practiced tai chi most of my adult life, so I'm fairly coordinated and light on my feet. I'm also a musician and drummer, so I've got solid rhythm and good feeling for the melodic flow. I explored Old English Country Dancing for a little while, but really didn't find the music very inspiring. I danced a lot to "the hits" at parties, concerts and clubs over the years, but I finally broke down and took ballroom dancing lessons about 14 years ago, which made me less fearless in winging it on the couples dance floor. I recently discovered Brazilian Forro, but I'm new to Tango

What level of dancer you are (beginner, intermediate, advanced)?

Beginning Tango, Intermediate Dancer

Hi there SF Bay Area Tango, An artist friend of mine lived in Argentina for 6 months to paint tango scenes. He highly recommended that I get involved in Milongas. I love to dance, so I'm ready to give it a try.
