Bravemaker Filmfest - Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore

Details
Yikes - I just realized that I might not be able to attend due to a conflicting commitment. I am leaving the meetup listing up anyways but be advised that this may be an unhosted event. The movie will be worth it though!
In 1987, Marlee Matlin became the first Deaf actor/actress to win an Academy Award and was thrust into the spotlight at 21 years old. Reflecting on her life in her primary language of American Sign Language, Marlee explores the complexities of what it means to be a trailblazer.
This screening is part of the Bravemaker film festival. Marlee Matlin will be attending in person! Showtime is 6 pm - we'll meet around 5.30 pm at the Fox theater in Redwood City.

I first noticed Marlee Matlin in the 1990s through the TV show "Picket Fences" - one of my favorites at the time - and have been following her trailblazing career ever since. Really excited for this documentary.
