Hello Stefan,

Thank you for letting me know! There are actually a couple of movies from Switzerland that I am very interested. (I am Swiss)  Bold Heroes I would be very interested to see. Will you be seeing that movie?

Thanks!

Graziella

Subject: [paloaltoindiefilms] Upcoming Film Festivals in the Bay Area

Hello everybody!

I wanted to alert you to a number of high quality film festivals that are coming up in the next few weeks (why all these festivals cluster together is beyond me ...)

First of the bunch is "Berlin & Beyond", which presents German language films at the Castro therater in San Francisco, from 10/20 to 10/26. There are some pretty exciting films in the line-up - check out "Face the Wall" and "Bold Heroes".

Next is the United Nations Association Filmfest at Stanford University - an awesome source for moving documentaries (10/21 - 10/30)

And last, but not least, the "French Cinema Now" series presented by the San Francisco Film Society (10/27 - 11/2). Check out the 'French movies and more' group for some of these films.

Due to work schedule I don't know how many (if any) of these films I'll be able to host. If you're interested in any of the programs and don't want to go alone, drop me a line and I'll be more than happy to put it on the calendar. It's easy :) and you'll be enjoying great films with your fellow group members!!

See you soon at the movies :)

- Stefan
