Star Wars: The DarkStryder Campaign – Final Game Session

  • A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far, away…

It is now four years since the Battle of Endor, when the Rebel Alliance successfully destroyed the second Death Star, and Darth Vader and the Emperor met their fates.

The Rebel Alliance proclaimed a New Republic over three-fourths of the galaxy. But without the thousands of Jedi Knights who formed the backbone of the Old Republic, the new confederation was a precarious one. Long years of struggle ensued, during which Imperial factions consolidated control over a fourth of the galaxy. Whole systems became fortresses, bristling with firepower. With the New Republic struggling to liberate Imperial worlds, rogue Imperial leaders have turned to ever more desperate tactics to hold power.

Dispatching a task force to the distant Kathol sector, the Katarn Commandos, under the leadership of Lieutenant Page, launched a devastating assault on the Imperial sector capital, Kal'Shebbol.

As Kal'Shebbol fell, Imperial Moff Kentor Sarne fled, enacting a massive computer failsafe that rendered the entire region's computer records faulty... covering his tracks and ensuring chaos in his wake.

At the last minute, just as New Republic troops were on the verge of capturing the renegade Moff, he used a previously unknown form of alien technology – a technology that rendered his pursuers unconscious and allowed his escape.

And the only clue left behind after his flight was a single word in the main data banks of his fortress: "DarkStryder."

After capturing one of the Moff's own ships, Page ordered a pursuit mission. The FarStar, under the command of Captain Keleman Ciro, prepared to launch for the unknown reaches of the Kathol Outback…

Join the crew of the Corellian Corvette FarStar as they scour the fringes of the Empire in search of Sarne and the source of DarkStryder technology!

Captain Keleman Ciro: a member of Page’s Commandos, handpicked by Lieutenant Page to lead the FarStar mission.

Kaiya Adrimetrum: a New Republic commando, Kaiya is eager for revenge against the Empire.

Gorak Khzam: the FarStar’s security officer claims to be an independent trader.

Darryn Thyte: Thyte is the communications officer no ship in the New Republic wanted. The FarStar got him.

Jessa Dajus: Imperial officer Dajus has inside information on Sarne’s plans, but her loyalty is held in question.

Loh’khar the Finder: the Twi’lek “procurement specialist” who can cut any deal… any deal at all.

Ranna “Wing-Ripper” Gorjaye: The FarStar’s fighter commander, Gorjaye knows there are two ways to do things - her way and the wrong way.

Kl’aal: the Defel scout who escaped Sarne’s regime and has pledged his services to the FarStar.

Akanseh: the Mon Calamari medic wrongfully imprisoned by the Empire.

Brophar Tofarain: the FarStar’s chief mechanic and shuttle pilot.

Lofryyhn: a personal friend of Kaiya, this Wookie has a score to settle with Sarne.

Sent into unexplored space with no support ships or supply stations, the crew of the FarStar must accomplish their mission by any means necessary…

The DarkStryder Campaign is a classic adventure that uses the Star Wars: Roleplaying Game – Second Edition, Revised and Expanded, originally published by West End Games. This is a one-shot game session that will end once the first adventure has concluded.  This meetup is currently full and is not accepting new players at this time.
