September New Tech Newsletter

From: Robert R.
Sent on: Monday, September 10, 2012 3:37 PM

Hello all

Let’s get this new party started:

Welcome Fort Collins to our list of monthly New Tech Events. Christine Hudson will be your host/organizer and the events will occur on the second Tuesday of each month.

Why a Newsletter:

As New Tech has continued to grow, now 8,600 members across the state and 3 cities, we wanted to adjust how we deliver information. Our goal is to reduce the amount of noise and increase the amount of value from each communication. We decided to try a newsletter format that will be delivered 2 times per month to the entire group. One Newsletter will be sent at the beginning of the month highlighting all the great things going to happen in Colorado. A second at the end of the month recapping all the awesome events and companies that presented.

If you register to attend a New Tech event you will get 2 additional emails 1 highlighting the events activities and a reminder the day before.

You can always check the main message board ( to see who is presenting in a given city or review the videos of the people who presented on our facebook page (

How you can engage with the New Tech community:
Everyone has something to announce from time-to-time. Please use the URL’s below to tell the community what’s happening and New Tech will highlight a few of the posts each month to the entire community.

  1. List other events:
  2. List your new product/launch announcement:
  3. List jobs:
  4. List blogs:

We are excited for your feedback and have decided to try this new structure for the remainder of the year. if it works awesome, if it crash and burns awesome.

Feedback and usage will determine its success
