MidTown Arts Center, Fort Collins, Colorado

Join the Society of Women Engineers Rocky Mountain Section for this unique, fast-paced and engaging mini-conference and learn how self empowerment, appropriate assertiveness, and powerful communications will help you own your personal power!

The conference features a workshop with Dr. Laura Belsten, an internationally recognized executive coach and leadership development expert. In this session we will cover three key aspects of personal power - self empowerment, appropriate assertiveness, and powerful communications. Each aspect will be explored through analysis of what it is and what it is not, combined with small-group experiential exercises. Learning objectives and outcomes for the session will include building personal self-confidence, transforming your inner critic into your inner champion, setting boundaries, and more!

In addition, you will:
•Enjoy a talk from CSU professor Sue James, our dynamic keynote speaker and meet our section’s new board
•Network with other brilliant, like-minded engineers and technologists.
•Participate in a technical tour of CSU’s Engines Lab or fun archery class.
