A Week of Photography Exercises
Overview
Boost creativity with a week of daily indoor photo prompts and a friendly, constructive review for photographers seeking practice and supportive feedback.
Details
There are two parts to this Meetup, which aims to sharpen our creativity after the holiday break.
For the first part, for seven consecutive days you will be provided with a photography prompt at 8:00 am. You are to produce an image representing the prompt within 24 hours of receiving the prompt (i.e., before receiving the next prompt). As an example, a prompt might be “create an image with reflections”. The prompts will be tailored so the images can be created indoors to avoid needing to go outside on potentially cold winter days. The exercises will start on Sunday January 4, and end on Saturday January 10.
For the second part we will meet at 2:00 pm on Sunday January 18 to review our images; there is no scoring or judging, just opportunity to provide constructive feedback to improve our images. The focus is our creativity, not technical minutia although feedback of how to improve technically to capture better images is welcomed. The review meeting will be held in north Golden (in a commercial office facility near the intersection of Hwy 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Rd). The building address will be provided to people registering for the Meetup.
There is a $ 5.00 fee to join the Meetup which is limited to 8 participants.
Only RSVP if you can join both parts of the Meetup. You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions ([robertcooke@icloud.com](mailto:robertcooke@icloud.com)).
