What we’re about

Adventurous when it comes to trying new restaurants, new cuisines, spirits, beer, and wine?

Do you like meeting new interesting people? Is it about time to step back out? Are you new to Bend but don't know a soul? Would you like to expand your social or business network?
If yes to any of the above, you've come to the right place!
Welcome.

Pre-covid, we sought out happy hours, spirit, beer, and wine tastings (plus day trips), road trips, outside dining events, breakfasts, lunches, potlucks, and occasional full dinners--all of this within a smaller group setting.

Favorite venues are the firepits at O'kanes (behind McMenamins), food cart lots, and restaurants that offer outside dining, even dinner events in my home. Roadtrips out beyond Bend have been extremely popular; I'll continue posting them. Most are just day trips, but I've posted a few that are overnighters.

Let me ask you something. Are you a shy sort? If you are, the smaller group size will be to your liking. I try to limit events to 6-8 people. Whence the day we can all move about freely, I'll up that number (and not always) to 12 or more--depending on the venue. Meet and Greet events are wildly popular. Name tags are provided.

We also participate in many outdoor group activities such as wine tasting in the upper Willamette Valley as well as the Rogue Valley, bonfires in the snow, stargazing, camping, kayaking, and hiking (with a food and beverage theme of course).

If you'd like to host an event in an outdoors setting, please do contact me. It's a great way to meet new people, and make new friends!
****** I highly recommend downloading the Meetup.com app on your phone. Do you ever wonder why so many events get booked so quickly? Folks have the app on their phones! There, as well, should something come up, you can "un-rsvp" on the fly. You can add a guest, and remove one too.

A current "mugshot" is required to be a member of our group. If you don't have a picture immediately, that's ok. But please make an effort to do this. A profile pic is needed so the given hosts of an event can readily recognize you as you enter the venue, and so other members can recognize you--particularly if you are attending a meetup at their house. I mean you too would like to 'see' who's coming to dinner. I ask you to please include at least your first name. We are an engaging group. This little bit of info also helps to make introductions.

Thanx for joining!
