What is Cultured Meat?

Cultured meat, cultivated meat or sometimes known as lab-grown meat, is deriving meat products by way of cellular agriculture technologies instead of traditional animal farming. Popularized by the "lab-grown hamburger" in 2013, lab-grown meat is starting to become a reality. Cultivated meat could radically change the world in regards to the environment, animal welfare, and health.

What is a Design Jam?

We'll be getting into small groups of designers and hackers to brainstorm what the next generation storefront will look like. This is a mini-hackathon where groups work on visuals, sketches, and concepts of future retail stores. Time is limited, so it's a race against the clock.
