In the small, remote town of Willowshore, nestled between the rivers and mountains of Spectrewood in the misty, haunted land of Shenmen, the Springtime is ending and Summer is about to begin. In a time of year known as the Season of Ghosts due to the increased activity of spirits, fiends, and undead, the hearty villagers hold a festival to ward off evil. On Summer's eve, the people reenact the abduction of townsfolk in the hopes of tricking the real ghosts into staying at peace.
