OpenPlans (http://openplans.org) builds open source civic infrastructure. We collaborate with the public sector to create technology for more efficient, responsive, and inclusive government. Our tools address difficult transportation and planning problems — from enabling public input on city-wide infrastructure projects to supporting meaningful community action around a single dangerous intersection.
Code for America (http://CodeForAmerica.org) is a non-profit and a new kind of organization. Our team is made up of web geeks, city experts, and technology industry leaders. We are building a network of civic leaders and organizations who believe there is a better way of doing things and want to make a difference.
