What is your company and what do you do? If I may inquire.

Yeah! Thanks, Erek. I work for a tech organization that works in the legal services sector - would it be cool if I sent out this request for to my colleagues to see if there is any currently hard-to-get data that would be useful for us or our partners around the city?

Thanks!
Jessica

Erek,

Thanks for sending this to the group! As a follow up, this form will help us, NYC Transparency Working Group, give testimony to the City Council.

Ben Yee has asked for our help populating this document with the data we'd like to see released by the city.

Ahoy Data Liberators! In preparation for a public hearing on the Local Law 11 a coalition of organizations is looking to develop a wishlist of datasets we'd all like to see put online.
A few notes: This is ONLY for NYC agencies and government (so the MTA is out, for example  ), data that is currently online but not readily accessible is an easy target, telling is WHY the data is useful is particularly useful.

The coalition behind the hearing is  mainly the Transparency Working Group, a bunch of Good Gov Goups and Gale Brewer's office. List to be finalized before a hearing slated to be in late November.
