**high filtration mask and booster required**

Come join us once again for a delightful afternoon and evening of contra dancing, Sunday October 16th, at 1950 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge MA.

We will be having a family dance before the evening dance - the perfect opportunity for all ages fun. Our family dances focus on dancing that is accessible and fun for children to join, but are open to everyone - even if you don't have children, come and have fun in a lighthearted atmosphere.

Caller: TBD
Music: Rose Jackson, Max Newman, Sam Z-A, Oliver Scanlon

Family Dance: 5:30-6:30
Beginner Workshop: 7:00 - 7:30
Evening Dance 7:30-10:30

$5-15 sliding scale, as you're able. Bring someone new to Contra to the intro session and you both get passes for free admission to a future dance! Share the love.

We will not be bringing back our potluck tradition just yet, because of covid safety concerns, but we will still have a break between the two dances to give talent a chance to relax and get set up.

**Please feel free to join us at 7:00 for a beginner's lesson if you're fresh to contra dancing! Or y'know, if you'd like a refresher, or to help other folks remember after a 2 year hiatus, or settle back in to the dance hall vibe gradually 🙂

BIDA needs new volunteers! many of our pre-covid regular volunteers are no longer able to help out. If you are interested in being more involved with making BIDA the dance we all love, please reach out to us.
