Demo Session is Back!!!! (Request for Presentations)

All,

We have had several requests to have another Demo Session to showcase companies doing interesting projects using Semantic Technology. So, here is the deal -

We are asking for people to submit a proposed presentation to me on or before December 1st. The presentation should follow these requirements:

1) a Power Point file.

2) 10 substantive slides in length, or less (cover/logo slide and contact info slides do not count towards the 10 slide limit).

The submitted presentation will be reviewed by Shamod, Alex and myself. We may have additional reviewers, who will remain anonymous. We are looking for innovative uses of Semantic Technology, high marks will be given to products with strong commercial or consumer appeal. However, we are all geeks about this stuff, so if you have something really off the wall, don't be afraid to submit. Please do not include information that you consider confidential.

If you are accepted, you will be given a slot for the Demo Session meeting. During your presentation, you will be expected to provide a live demonstration of your application. You may use your slides, but this is left to your discretion.

The Demo Session itself will be in January, date TBD. The number of slots will vary depending on the number of applications and available time. There may be presenters that are solicited by the organizers. Presenters will be announced by December 15th.

The goals are to provide the most interesting and entertaining presentation to the largest audience.

Looking forward to seeing your presentations!

Best,

-Peter
