For those you don't want to do an overnight camping trip, this one's for you (and me).  We've done this route a couple of times and it's easy enough for anyone.  Just under 20 miles.

We leave the BoB and head East on Memory Lane, to Flower and turn right.  Continue to Park and bear to the left for one block to Heliotrope.  Right on Heliotrope to Santa Clara, then left to Broadway.  Cross the street with the light, turning left on Broadway, up and over the I-5 to Marketplace Dr.  A very sharp right U-turn and onto the Santiago Creek Trail.

About 5 miles of off street bike trail will end at Collins, where the trail reverts to the sidewalk.  We go around the reservoirs via Bond, Hewes, and Villa Park Rd, staying on the sidewalk until crossing Villa Park Rd. and turning left. We'll be on the streets again for a while, so be aware!  Enjoy a downhill run and use your speed to climb the short uphill, then turn right at the top, on Lemon.

About half a mile up Lemon to Taft, which we cross and turn left.  Another nice downhill run, so watch your speed and the traffic lights!  At Tustin St. we'll jog left for a block and pick up Taft again.  Continue on Taft, crossing the Santa Ana River (where it becomes Ball Rd.), then turn right into the driving range parking lot.  Continue to the back end of the parking lot and pick up the Anaheim Coves Trail, which will end at Lincoln.

At Lincoln, turn right and stay on the sidewalk across the Santa Ana River.  DO NOT CROSS LINCOLN.  Once across the river turn right onto the SART and head downstream back to Memory Lane and our starting point.

There will be several restrooms available along the Santiago Creek Trail, at the start of the Anaheim Coves Trail, and on the SART at Katella.

And as always, please inspect your bike BEFORE coming to ride. Check tire pressure BEFORE leaving home. Bring your helmet, extra tubes, water, snacks, sunscreen, and anything else you think you might need.

Really liked the scenic trail and quaint areas plus the upscale estates to ride through. Thanks for a great ride with just enough small hills for frequent challenges along the way! :D
