This ride is for members who like to tour and are not bothered by a mix of dirt and tarmac roads in rural areas. The following are broad details only. Some details may change.

Central West cycling is mainly on dirt roads with undulating hills. You will need to make your own way to the start point of Dunedoo, parking opposite the hotel. Regional temperatures range from 10-25 degrees so layering will be required. You need to be fit and capable of riding 50-80kms with panniers and/or backpacks. Ideally, your bike should be equipped with extra strong dirt tires, spares, panniers and at least two to four litres of water. Transport of your luggage for the night has been arranged.

The trip is to do loop rides along parts of the Central West Cycling Trail starting in Dunedoo (2 nights), Mendooran (2 nights), Ballimore (1 night) and Dunedoo again (1 night). Around 300 kms. All accommodation has been booked. Expect to pay about $100per night. Share rooms offer the best savings. Food, grog and entertainment will be extra. There maybe an opportunity to car pool.

You need to be a paid up member of the club and do the necessary distance training leading up to departure.
