Reston Bike Club Touring Ride

Arrival time: 9:45 am
Pedal: 10 am.
We will again be joining the Reston Bike Club (RBC) for one of their Sunday touring rides. They have a 63, 54, and 42 mile ride. The routes are the following:
The Rides
63.8 mile ride,
RBC-502A (63.8) Southern Big Dipper · Ride with GPS
53.7 mile ride,
RBC-502B (53.7) Southern Medium Dipper · Ride with GPS
42 mile ride
RBC-502C (42) Southern Small Dipper · Ride with GPS
To participate in the ride, you should register on the RBC site.
Reston Bicycle Club - Sunday Tour Ride 2025-1116 - LCHS
If you are not a member of RBC, they offer the first ride for free. After the first ride, membership is $30 a year.
The paces for the ride are roughly,
- B Level = 19 - 21 MPH Avg
- C Level = 17 - 19 MPH Avg
- D Level = 15 - 17 MPH Avg
If you start in a group that is too fast for you, then drop back to the next group.

After the ride, we can hang out at Fireworks Pizza or a nearby restaurant.
