Bike Prescott in Flagstaff- Aug 14-17

Our annual trek north to Flagstaff. Ride on 8-15 is from Wupatke Visitor Center up to Sunset Crater Visitor Center. 19 miles one way ( mostly uphill) with 2300 ft climbing. Then back down to Wupatke. It's a beautiful ride, starting in high plans and ending in pine forest. Most of us with RV's stay at Woody Mountain RV, and will probably have Bike Pct gathering Fri night. Pizza for all.
Sat 8-16 is Mormon Lake Ride starting at Walmart Shopping center on Beulah Blvd near I-40 and I-17 intersection. Ride Lake Mary Road out to Mormon Lake and back. 57 miles, 2200 ft climbing. Another beautiful ride. Start at 9 am again. Some folks cut ride short and start out on Lake Mary Road a ways. Not sure if Bike Pct will have any organized plans for Sat night.
Sun 8-17, some of us ride south of town on Hwy 89A to Oak Creek Canyon overlook. About 12 miles each way out and back starting at Walmart Shopping Center again. Some of us without much common sense ride down Canyon, 3 miles and back ( I'm pointing to myself). Have to leave early- around 8 am
