 rom here it's only about 1 1/2 beautiful miles to the Hassayampa River whe
 re we'll take a break. It will be interesting to see how much water is in 
 the river after our recent rains. When we get back to Senator if there is 
 interest we will continue on up Senator to the intersection with Walker. B
 e prepared for a fun decent down The shorter ride is about 23 miles and 23
 00' of climbing. The longer ride would be closer to 30 miles and 3000' of 
 climbing. Gravel bikes\, mountain bikes and e-bikes are welcome. Don't for

 ot off of 89 South at the turnoff for White Spar Campground. For the first
  loop we ascend 4 miles up to hub 6\, take in the view and then ride down 
 Supreme Bean. We will regroup at the first return loop intersection and as
 cend back up to hub 4. From there we will decide on our route for the desc
 ent to the parking lot. Figure around 12 miles with about 1\,400 feet of e

 on in 2026.\nWe will meet at the gravel parking area by the Chevron/Old St
 age Stop at the corner of Williamson Valley Rd. and Outer Loop Rd.\n\nSnac
 ks will be available beginning at 8:30 A.M. Bottled water will be availabl
 e\, but no other beverages. The pickup will begin at 9:00 A.M.\n\nBike Pre
 scott has adopted mile 0-1 which starts right at the intersection of WVR a
 nd Outer Loop Rd. Half the group will begin at the intersection and the ot
 her half will carpool to the midpoint and start from there.\nPlease wear l
 ong pants\, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket\, solid-soled full-toe shoes or
  boots\, a hat\, and sunscreen. Safety vests\, gloves\, trash bags\, and t
 rash pickup tools will be provided\, although you may bring your own vest\
 , gloves\, etc. if you have gear that you like.\nYou will be required to s
 ign a waiver before beginning.\nThe last time we did this pickup\, both Ji

 utiful ride with very little traffic. Starting from the Kirkland Bar & Ste
 akhouse\, we'll head out Kirkland Valley Road\, turn right on AZ-89 and th
 en left on Wagoner Road. We will continue on Wagoner past the Hassayampa B
 ridge and turn around at the end of the paved road.\n\nFrom Kirkland to th
 e end of the pavement on Wagoner Road is about 31 miles with 1900' feet of

 ual tour in Tucson. Three days of riding planned\, I will post each day se
 parately. Today we ride through Saguaro East Nat'l Monument. If you have d
 one it before you'll remember how beautiful it is. This year I've altered 
 the ride and we won't go to Colossal Cave. Start at 9 am in the parking lo
 t of Walmart\, 2711 S Houghton Rd. Usually gather in the SW corner. Ride n
 orth on Houghton then R onto Old Spanish Trail\, then L into park. If you 
 have a Senior Parks pass we can get in for free. After making the park loo
 p we are back on Old Spanish Trail- L out of park. Next we will turn R ont
 o E Valencia Rd. Then about a mile past Houghton we will turn R onto paved
  loop trail. ( We will be on this on Thursday loop ride). WE will be on th
 is for about 6 miles then R onto Old Spanish Trail\, then R onto Houghton 
 and back to Walmart.\nRoute is 26 miles and 1200 ft climbing. Nice warm up
 .\nWed evening we usually eat around 6 PM at El Charro downtown. Great Mex
 ican food. Location is 311 N Court Ave. I'll be making reservations so let
  me know if you are in.

DESCRIPTION:Bike Prescott Meetup\nVicki and Ed once again welcome our Bike
  Prescott friends to Tucson! This off-the-bike event is for Bike Prescott 
 riders and guests visiting Tucson this November. We will host a spaghetti 
 & lasagna party at our park on Friday evening in preparation for the Satur
 day Tour de Tucson. We'll serve a full pasta meal including veggie options
 \, side dishes and a variety of cold drinks. No need to bring **anything**
  unless you have special needs (just let us know) or are a real beer snob.
  The venue at Wagons West is perfect for this event with a covered Ramada\
 , fire pit\, recreation area\, restrooms and private parking. Happy hour a
 t 4 and dinner at 5 -- don't be late! Enter through the gate on the right 
 of the entrance\; you can't miss it. First-timers\, don't miss our Wagons 
 West guided walking tour before dinner. FYI\, the park is a pet-free venue
