We’ll meet at the east end of the parking lot along Tanque Verde at 6:00 AM for our ride around Tucson via The Loop bike paths. The average end-of-ride pace will be 15-16 MPH for the 60 mile ride. We will make our way to the Pantano River bike path via Tanque Verde, Pio Decimo, Pima, Pantano, and Kenyon. That path will take us to Irvington, then over to Houghton Rd. where we will cycle down to Valencia. We will then make our way to the Julian Wash bike path via Valencia, Nexus and Rita Rd. We will then take that path to our first restroom and water break at Kolb Rd. We will continue on the bike path to Drexel, then onto surface streets until we reach the Santa Cruz River bike path. There is a nice park along the bike path to take a short break for snacks and a restroom visit. We will then continue heading north to the Rillito River bike path, which is just south of Orange Grove Rd, and then head east, which will take us to Craycroft. From there we will make our way back to Udall Park via River Rd, Sabino Canyon and Tanque Verde.
