Pistol Hill Loop Ride

We'll meet at the east end of the parking lot of Udall Park along Tanque Verde at 8AM for a ride out to Pistol Hill and back. We will ride on bike lanes on Tanque Verde, Speedway, Harrison, Spanish Trail and Camino Loma Alta. There are a few short hills on the route, none that are too steep. We will ride at a 14-16 MPH end-of-ride average pace for about 47 mile. Great view of the Rincon Mountains and the Tucson valley from our regrouping stop at the top of Pistol Hill. On our way back, we'll stop at the Saguaro National Park for a short rest, then a quick picnic loop before heading down Freeman Rd. to Speedway. From there we will make our way back to Udall Park via Speedway, Camino Seco, Pima, Pio Decimo and Tanque Verde
