C,C+/2/52 This is a ride down to the San Xavier Mission along the River Path. We return via Irvington, Kinney & Ajo and then Anklam to Camino de Oeste and back to the start. End of ride average will be 14-16+mph. The assumption is that you can sustain this average speed for 50 miles. Please, NO ear buds. Be sure that you have all the necessary gear to fix your own flat. If you use Co2, be sure that you have practiced on its use at least once so that you aren't learning how to do it out on the road. Don't forget that many new rims are "deep" and require an extra long valve stem. The standard size won't work on many of these new rims. You will need valve stem lengths of from 45 to 60 mm or longer. You can post questions here on the meet up or you can leave a phone/text message at[masked]. Map is available at http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11337939 If you can't get the cue sheet from this url, we will have them at the beginning of the ride. Please note start time, 8:30 a.m.
