UPDATED ROUTE ROUTE
Updated route to include water stop. Please re load route if you were on ride last week. NOTE Bathroom is closed at start, we will stop a few miles in at Ritz)

Let's do that again! Start at Tangerine Sky Park so we can climb early!

We will climb Dove to Ritz and then to the park, rest and recover there at mile 9. Then continue on route and go through the Tunnel and then turn around at guard gate; continue on Moore Road and do a loop to rest stop and hydration stop off Woodburne (25 miles in) then we will do Moore loop before heading back, adding a few more miles than last week, but temps look a bit better for Thursday so should be fine with more of a downhill miles through neighborhoods and on Tangerine at end of ride.

Average pace 14-16 mph with ride at your own pace sections/re groups:

Start/End: 5:30 AM Tangerine Sky Park (nice tables with shade so bring cooler with cold drink and snack for post ride socializing)

Water/Bathrooms/Rest stop:
Bathroom stop at Ritz (Bathroom is NOT open at the park til 6 pm, so we will do quick bathroom stop here)
Mile 9 at Park at end of Dove Mountain Blvd
Mile 25 off Woodburne Dr.

Route: Mainly roads with bike lanes.

Safety/Legal Refresher: On roads that we share cars and trucks, make yourself visible with lights/bright clothing, ride as a group, and whenever possible stay in the bike lane. Call out road hazards and announce stopping. Communicate at all times!

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in.

Load the route into your bicycle computer, your smart phone or print a copy of the cue sheet. Review route prior to ride. Otherwise, follow the ride leader

If you haven't ridden with me before, I will not have your contact information. If so, please send your name, phone number, emergency contact, emergency contact phone number (NOT 911) to theresagilbert90@gmail.com. If you are bringing a +1, send their information as well. The ride waiver will be filled out prior to the ride, you will just need to verify the information and sign it.

This C+ ride will average between 14 and 16 MPH. This is a no drop ride, however two groups may form if I designate a faster ride leader for the higher end of the average (may average near 17 if it forms). If you do not know the route, stay with me or wait for me if you get dropped on route)
If you are not comfortable or not capable of this expected pace average for the route you chose, please do not participate in it, it is not fair to the other riders.
Riders are expected to ride at the pace of the ride leader and between the ride leader and the sweep if designated. There will be ride-at-your-own-pace sections and regroup areas designated by the ride leader, such as the climb up Twin Peaks.
