We do a different ride every week with a variety of start locations and times (summer usually around 6am and shifting back in winter – 9ish am). We are a solid C (12-16 mph) group that does a variety of rides from recovery, interval training, climbing, social & everything in between with the focus of helping all our riders succeed – we usually regroup often and make sure everyone is good with the route and pace. Oh yeah, every 2nd Thursday we play on Mt Lemmon; every 3rd Thursday we let the boys join our fun and try to have a co-ed ride :) Do you need to do an FTP test? Then this ride will be perfect to do just that. We will roll out from Panera Bread at 9am, have a bit of a warm up then do a 20 min FTP test and a nice cool down afterward. If you don't want to do an FTP test, you are still more than welcome to join us! We plan to turn around at the Biosphere junction and have lunch at Panera Bread.   • R & I Ride to Saguaro National Pk & Agua Caliente Pk Loop Ride C+/3/45

    Join us as we ride to two of Tucson's beautiful parks. We will meet at the west end of the park near the "Dog Park" at 6:30 AM for our ride to Saguaro National Park and Agua Caliente Park. Our end-of-ride pace will be 15-16 MPH. Please, no ear buds on this ride. Also, NO E-bikes or trikes. We will exit Udall Park at the west side and turn left onto Sabino Canyon Rd bike path then onto the Pantano Bike Path. We'll exit the bike path at Kenyon then right onto Old Spanish Trail. We will make a full loop including the Javalina Picnic area then take a short break at the Ramada. (Please bring your Park pass or $5.00 for park entrance. Also, each pass will allow 4 people to enter). We will then leave the park and head north on Freeman Rd to Speedway. A left on Speedway will take us to Tanque Verde Loop and onto Tanque Verde where we will turn right and head to the 49's golf club. After an enjoyable ride through their community, it's out onto Tanque Verde Rd. A right turn onto Soldiers Trail will take us to Roger Rd and over to the Agua Caliente Park, where we will take a short break to look around and use the restroom facilities. After our break, we will then head back and turn right on Soldiers Trail, left onto Snyder, a left on Catalina Hwy, a left onto Tanque Verde, a right on Houghton, a right on Speedway which will take us back to the Pantano bike path and Udall Park.     We will meet at Morris K Udall Park near the dog park. Udall Park is located near the intersection of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Road. Wheels rolling at 7:00AM. This will be a C paced (12-14 mph rolling average) ride. This is a social ride, lots of conversations, and regroupings we will not drop anyone. We will ride to Sabino Canyon Park. West on Sunrise to Kolb. North on Kolb to Craycroft. West on Sunrise to Swan. North on Swan to Skyline. West on Skyline to Campbell. South on Campbell to the bike path and back to Udall.     Udall Dog Park

    Join us as we cycle the bicycle Loop. We’ll meet at the west end of the parking lot of Udall Park, 3rd left (near the Dog Park area) from the main entrance along Tanque Verde at 6:30AM for our ride around Tucson via The Loop Bike paths. Please, no ear buds on this ride. Also, NO E-bikes or trikes. The average end-of-ride pace will be 15-16 MPH for the 54 mile ride. We will exit Udall Park on the west side and onto the the Pantano Bike Path. We'll continue south on the new Harrison Greenway bike path to Rita Rd and onto the Julian Wash Bike Path. We'll take a quick restroom break at Kolb Rd before we continue west on the path until we pick up the Santa Cruz River Bike Path. There is a nice park along the bike path to take our next short break for snacks and a restroom visit. We will then head north to the Rillito River Bike Path which will take us back to the Pantano Bike Path and back to Udall Park. Remember to bring lots of water and hydrate before you leave the house. This is an Easy Peasy Ride and no one will be dropped. That said, we should have an end of ride average of about 13 mph.
